COVID-19 is undoubtedly having an enormous impact on the world. Governments around the world are now issuing restrictions on travel, gatherings, and meetings in an effort to limit and slow the spread of the virus. The health and safety of all participants is our first priority. The goal of the online session is to help many more promising scholars to present their research results. We hope the online conference of ICEIPI 2020 will be valuable and engaging for both presenters and attendees.

Updated August 20th: The onsite conference at University of Oxford had to be canceled. However, The ICEIPI 2020 was not canceled. Welcome to ICEIPI 2020, the conference has officially been posted online. We therefore invite you to connect with other academics or industry practitioners, comment, subscribe but most importantly enjoy ICEIPI 2020. Click Here to partake in the online conference.

Overall Format

All invited authors at the online conference will give their presentations using pre-recorded videos. The recommended length of the videos is around 15 minutes. An official YouTube channel of the online conference will be created. All accepted videos will be uploaded to the channel. Discussion on the content of the papers will be conducted in the comment section of the videos. You can refer to the YouTube Channel of ASPLOS 20 for more information about the format of the conference.

Treated in the same way as an onsite conference, authors and speakers in the online conference will also receive a printed certificate of oral presentation. The presentation videos will be listed on the official YouTube channel permanently.

Conference Fees

Viewers of the online conference do not need to pay the conference participation fee. However, invited authors need to pay the processing fee.

Record & Upload Videos

Invited presenters can follow the instructions in THIS FILE to record and upload your presentations. Each video should contain a set of slides and should be timed to be within the time limit. The recommended length of the videos is around 15 minutes. Videos shorter than 12 minutes or longer than 18 minutes will not be accepted.The video and slides should be in widescreen format (16:9). The slides can be created in any presentation software e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote, etc. That allows you to export to PDF. You should upload the final video as well as and the exported slides in PDF format to gofile.io and email the link to us.

Discussion Format

Comments and discussions are welcomed in the comment section of the videos. All participants may send the questions to us via email as well. We will send those questions privately to authors and the deadline for them to reply is September 1st. All the discussions will be concluded and posted in the comment section at last.

FAQs

How many authors will be giving presentations online?

We will invite the 6 best authors (about 15 percent of all our authors) to show their interesting research results at our online conference.

It's too slow when I upload my video and presentation PDF file to gofile.io / I can't access gofile.io.

You can choose other online storage platforms (wetransfer.com, cowtransfer.com etc.) to upload your files. If your email service has the ability to send large files within its system, you could also send the files directly to us. PLEASE DO NOT upload the video directly to YouTube or any other video hosting websites by yourself, sending us a link to it.

How do I get a certificate of attendance?

We only provide the certificate to those who deliver the presentations in this online conference, under this special circumstance.
